what makes it unique and perfect for your project?
AA270 is a compact absolute magnetic encoder based on MT6701, designed to solve the biggest problem of cheap magnetic encoders: no more “round magnet” alignment and no repeated zero calibration after each reconnect. With a defined mechanical zero reference, you get true absolute position from power-up—making it as straightforward to use as a potentiometer, but with encoder-grade repeatability.
The bearing-supported construction keeps the magnet perfectly centered, reducing wobble, vibration, and offset drift for smoother readings and longer service life. Housed in a lightweight, tough PCTG-CF body, the mechanism stays protected and stable in real-world builds while remaining small enough for tight robotic joints and compact mechanisms.
Thanks to the flexible outputs (Analog, PWM, I²C), it drops into a wide range of controllers and workflows from simple analog inputs to fully digital systems. It’s a practical upgrade for robot arms, gimbals/pan-tilt units, CNC/automation axes, camera sliders, animatronics, and any project where you want reliable absolute angle feedback without calibration hassle.
